Dark Horse (Purity)

Tried all kinds of Tabacco flavors. This is so far hands down the best. I ordered 36mg nic, 70/30 pg/vg, extra flavor. If you like strong tobacco flavor, this is the one. Cigar like flavor, no sweetness. Perfect!

This flavor is one of the best flavors I have had in along time. Been vaping since 2009 and I have tried my fair share of liquids. Very smooth inhale with a great tobacco flavor. Been vaping only this for 2 months and I do not plan on stopping anytime soon. Great first flavor for a beginner or advanced user looking for a good tobacco vape.

Perfect switch from cigarettes to vape. Heavy menthol (injected) surprisingly didn't kill the cigar taste. Very,very good.

Got a cigar bite to it, but not overly powerful. Nice.

Great cigar taste! No sweet/fruity over-tones. Add a bit of menthol and it ALMOST passes as a Red Pack mentholated ciggy.

This juice seems to nail the flavor of cigar paper, that taste you get when sucking on an unlit cigar. One of the greatest after dinner vapes. I am blown away by this NET!

I like Legend, but this one tastes like a King Edward cigar....cheap. No thanks.

Top notch Tobacco juice. No fruity disguises on this one. I didn't even let it steep. I've tried most of HHV's tobacco juices and dozens of other vendors as well before I decided to give this one a go. I got a 50 ml bottle, and my first thought when I tried it was "Sh.., I didn't get enough." Try it...Even if it's not for you, you won't regret it.

so much like tobacco it,s sort of the type of vape when you first give up tobacco it may be somewhat of a comfort. To me I prefer a jack daniels and a huntsman for comfort. I'm sorry heather but your other liquids are far superior to me.

Sorry, need to amend my previous review of DH to add that this batch has been steeping for nearly 9 months.

This is not my first bottle of Dark Horse. All I could say when I first tried it was "yes, reorder". It has a similar rustic, but pleasantly sweet maple-tobacco front note as Huntsman. However, I detect a floral, or maybe fruity upper notes that make it quite different. Some say it's Huntsman without the steroids. IDK I also get just a touch of spice after taste. Vaped in a Kayfun Plus, 1.3 ohm coil & cotton wick at 3.8 volts on a Provari.

I tried more than a hundred liquides.Dark horse is by far the best because it is the closest thing to a real cigarette. not sweet but sweet anyway. Fantastic job. I vape all day with legend, sludge and shadow. Dark horse is the best of all.

For the last 3 years I have not vaped any tobacco flavors. I never thought I would. Then I tried Dark Horse from a friend. AWESOME!! Great flavor. DO NOT CHANGE A THING HHV!!

Dark Horse would be my choice out of the tobacco flavors from HHV I've tried. It wasn't what I was expecting, quite a sophisticated mix of flavors, floral and earthy but good. Excellent throat and vapor at 36mg and 60/40 blend. This was by far the least sweet of the tobaccos so it wins my vote. I'll be ordering more of this one.

this is great! this is one of my top 3 liquids. I went from coffee, pastry, to an occasional fruit vape, but I was on the hunt for a good tobacco or tobacco like flavor. got tired of those sweet, and sometimes fake tasting flavors. After a million vendors, I am at Dark Horse, Huntsman, and Newport by Captivape. although there are a ton more vendors out there that I haven't tried, I finally found a few that I will order larger than 3-6ml samples. I've tried 70/30, 50/50, and 40/60 and while to me 70/30 has a bit more flavor, I do like all the ratios. I have tried them in a protank(1.8 ohm), LR306 in a DCA, .5 ohm dual coil igo-l, and .9 ohm aga t2+. thought I'd add that in, since the flavor does change with whatever you use. I have not tried them in cartos, since I stopped using them long ago.

Really good if your looking for a straight tobacco flavor.

I wish I had tried this when I was still craving cigarettes. Very good burning tobacco reproduction without a lot of the aromatic pipe and cigar qualities. This is the closest I have found to an analog in 4 months of trying dozens of juices. I can taste earthy tones like in Hunstman but it's less in-your-face with the Dark Horse. I only let it steep a little over a week before I tried it and cannot wait to see what it tastes like in a month!! Very impressive HHV.

Very Good. Have not tried Many tobacco flavors yet. I can definitely say you would think there were some tobacco leaves stuffed in the bottle. Reminds me of some cigars I have tasted in the past. I mix it with a little menthol tobacco juice I have and vape it all day

I just tried some of this from a sampler pack. This is one of the best tobacco liquids I have found. The best way I could describe it is, for you former smokers, the smell on your hands after having that first smoke in the cold of the morning? Well this is it. It does not vape like an analog at all, but has the taste similar to the after smell. I hope that doesnt make it sound bad, its actually really great. Just ordered a 50ML. :-)

This one comes really close to an actual tobacco flavor liquid. This one and shadow are my two favorite ADV. Just ordered a 30ml bottle along with shadow.

Meh, it's alright, but not something I'd order again. I don't taste much of anything other than a perfume like flavor. If you hold it in your mouth and let it roll out and breath it in through your nose, you can smell a tobacco, but the taste just isn't there.

Love, love, love this juice. I switch between this one and Shadow for my all day vape, and they are both very satisfying. Will definitely keep ordering it!

To me it tastes like a mild cigar. That's it.

Very clean tasting liquid. I love the earthy tones that are there but they are not over powering like some liquids I have tried. Very good juice!

I do not think the name "Dark Horse" is appropriate here, or maybe it's Morrissette?ironic. This vape is redolent of spring, and flowers, and angels' wings. It does, however, have some bass notes, like the perfume it reminds me of, Y by Yves St. Laurent. Like revenge, it's best served cold.

neutral on this one.. like the smokiness of it but that is about all i taste but adding a couple drops of a menthol-mint juice i have made for a great smoky menthol vape.. there is no perfume smell or taste at all to me, it kinda smells like gandalf actually.. i have funky tastebuds so no taste to me may not be the case for everyone btw..

I love this! I am no tobacco aficionado, but this is deep and complex with a smoky quality that is very nice! Definitely worthy of a full bottle for me!

Good but a tiny bit perfumey. I heard great things about Gandalf so I tried it and I prefer it over the Dark Horse.
